What did you do to your bike today?

Think its about 13k . Was a non oem pump i used but i think you really have to do the filter . No need for POR15 as the Tuono has a plastic tank . Its mint inside so was just a case of cleaning the filters and housing

Replacing crank bearing on friends sr250 work horse he has other bikes but this needs to be up and running for when the weather starts to turn we have been working together on bikes for over 30 years and still fight on the best procedures lol but a brew soon sorts things out.

YES!!!

None of this garage nonsense, get the socket set out and crack on! Love it.

Done the front disc bobbins as shown in Del boys garage, all seemed to be pretty free moving and there wasn't a great deal of rust and crap pouring off them which seems quite good going for the way the bikes used.

How did you find the Transalp in the Alpine passes, did you notice the power loss much? Great video, 4 weeks exactly and I'll be almost on the B500 on day one of our Alps trip :D
It was great again (did the Western Alps on it last year), the power change isn't noticeable to me but then I'm not a particularly fast rider. You'd certainly feel it's lacking after the Aprilia. It is very agile though, certainly has no problems negotiating the hairpins and it's easily comfy enough for the long trips.
The B500 is great but it's a long old way to get there in 1 day! I think we only used about 2 hours of motorway on the first and final days each though.

I'll be on the VFR for our trip, it's a heavy girl but should be good fun :D This is day 1 for me, a bit of a slog on the french autoroutes but it gets me to the B500 at the end of day 1. Then it's the entire B500 on day 2 followed by a motorway hop across switzerland in to Austria and the first mountain pass.

I follow his stuff - really informative.

I have to clean and sort my bikes this weekend, had slight drag. I think it was just dirt, a good clean up and they are not doing it anymore. Exactly one year after the brake re-build!

Do you guys not clean your brakes (calipers off, pads out, clean the pistons with a toothbrush) every few months? Maybe it's just because I do high miles but if I don't the lever ends up becoming far mushier and travelling further before the pads actually bite - a good scrub of the pistons soon sorts it though.

Forgive the indulgent throwback to being young photo recreation. Its a case of 1993 vs 2017, less hair more gut.

I was always gutted that I had to sell the M.

Fitted an Evotech radiator guard to the SV today. Didn't really want to pay £50 for what is essentially a bit of aluminium but if it stops stones and potentially getting stranded on the side of the road :o
