What did you do to your bike today?

Never noticed Renthal sprockets wearing faster or slower than any other brands. If you have a Scottoiler though, it's worth getting a steel rear sprocket, otherwise the chain tends to outlive the sprocket. You also get a nice whizzy transmission whine.

Not technically today but on Sunday I noticed the oil seeping from my filter was flowing higher than usual (hot day, hard ride) so I took it back to mine and tightened it slightly. Few minutes later I checked again and there was a huge splodge of oil under the bike.
Luckily I had oil and a filter ready because I was due a change next month.
Changed filter and filled up oil and tested again. New filter still slightly seeps. Checked all round filter to make sure it isn't the neutral switch or anything else leaking.
Pretty frustrating.
Just need to keep an eye on it I guess. Nothing more I can do at the moment.

Serviced the bike over the last two days so done the oil and filter yesterday before getting absolutely soaked getting the last jug full of oil in.
Then today changed the plugs, cleaned and reoiled air filter and adjusted chain and idle.

Stripped down the clutch release assembly and regreased that as well.

Used my new JIS screwdrivers, so much easier taking the top off the air box and turning the idle screw using the proper kit. Normally I'd have to apply a fair bit of pressure to stop a normal Phillips from slipping out. A tiny thing but a really noticeable difference.

Tomorrow is front fork oil and stainless bleed nipples if the weather holds out.

Heavier fork oil added and stainless nipples fitted up front.

From a quick bounce in the garden the rebound is now much slower but not sure if it's now a little to slow probably should have tried 15w oil before 20w but I listened to the experts opinion so we'll see how it is on the road later.

Picked up 3 points courtesy of a well hidden camera van, damn sure I didn't get away with it, but I'm not going to complain mind as it has been about 13 years since I last had any points.
