What did you learn to drive in?

My instructor had a 1.0 litre Corsa (which wasn't designed to be used in a county with hills) and a Ford KA.

I also drove my Mum's 1987 Polo, which wasn't too bad given it's age.

I learned to drive in a 2.8 litre Renault Master, when I was working as a driver for an Antique Dealer been banned.

I learned in a Seat Arosa. The chap next door to me is a driving insructor and has a Citroen Picasso, i wouldn't have liked to learn to drive in that

Learnt to drive in a Corsa diesel (same one Button drove :p) but then two weeks before my test he changed to the newer model which thankfully was a lot easier to drive (power steering etc) :)

Learnt to drive in a 1.6 new shape Focus....cant recall what year it was, possibly a 54 plate.

Had a bit of private practice in my sisters Yaris and used to borrow it to jet around in after I had passed and she wasn't using it.

Im now the proud owner of my own 1999 V reg 1.6 Focus, and very nice it is too :)

A few actually..

First instructor had an 05 Clio, then a 55...
Second instructor had an 06 Focus
I've also learned in my old Fiat Cinquecento, and the last part of my learning and my test, which I passed in, my Daewoo Lanos SX.

Brand new 1.4 206, does the job. was nice to see less than 20miles on the clock in my first lesson. :D

It's probably a good thing to learn in a few different vehicles. That way I suppose you are learning to drive, and not learning how to operate a single vehicle (if you know what I mean).

Your post reminded me actually - I had a few lessons in a Fiat Cinquecento Sporting too. Quite spritely, very eager engine to say it was only a 1.1, good handling. Not the smoothest of rides though!

To the guy who learnt in the 106 Rallye - interesting car for learning indeed! Bet it was fun though :D

1.3 CDTI Corsa SXI on an 05 plate

Dark blue with two 12" JBL subs in the back lol. My intructor is mid 20's but so far hes been very good. Had 10 lessons and doing my last maneuver (reverse round corner) before i start prepping for the test and perfecting mirrors and such.

A BSM Corsa to start with, then the same instructor's Punto when he decided to quit BSM and go private.

I also used to drive to work and stuff with my mum in her Mazda 2.

Rover 220 SDi and my Escort 1.4i LX.

The 220 was a rocket ship compared to my scort. :D
