What do you wear to a Gap interview?

(Asking anything about the whole child labour thing, which people would be better educating themselves on the facts rather than trying to make jokes, is a bad idea)

.

So they did not put out a statement admitting it??? They have been critisized for using sweat shops before and now they are surprised one is using children......:o:rolleyes:

I didn't say it didn't happen, because it did. I said people should educate themselves on the facts of what actually happened.

despite the stories about gap - pretty much every large scale manufacturer is involved in some kind of 'slave trade' -- be it low pay, long hours, employing underage workers, or even just exploiting the cheaper labour conditions in other countries - i don't think gap can be singled out

they've done a lot to improve their image over the last few years, organic materials, and supporting hiv research to name but two 'good causes'

if you're going to complain about the gap - you'd better not be wearing nike, adidas, h+m, primark.... or risk sounding horrifically hypocritical

Been reading and am yet to be comforted.......And not only am I not wearing those items but we have not been in a supermarket for over a year (I am not even starting on that). That said, I dont care if you work there, dress there, eat there. I just dont!

Sorry if I offended you Blackstar. I am sure work is lovely.
