I am European Director of a chemical company. Head office in San Francisco, main facility in Europe is in Madrid. I live in UK but it feels like I really live on KLM flights.

As a MChem graduate now doing a PhD in polymer engineering, tell me more.

technical manager for a small chemical research company.

Leeds is rather local, whom might that be?

I run a company that specialises in engagement analytics for online learning. Helping understand when students are and aren't engaged in courses online and the efficacy of content, using facial expression recognition and machine learning to understand what engagement looks like for each individual.

That's rather interesting - has there been much of a take up? Do a lot of Uni's/schools view it as some sort of pseudo-science or are they open to it?

Registered Nurse. Currently in District Nursing, used to be Surgical.

I basically drive around all day listening to music, visiting sick people in their homes.

Love every minute of my job, the satisfaction at the end of the day is amazing.

I spent 20 minutes today speaking with a WW2 vet who hadn't had a visitor in 2 weeks, he flew Lancaster Bombers and the stories he told me were mind blowing! Then I did a blood test on him :)

Predominantly we work with the Microsoft BI stack, PowerBI and Qlikview but we have developed in many more on a much more day-rate basis.

We have the same end-to-end approach. It's great getting the companies moving with the view to help them become self-sufficient through training and coaching.

Our Microsoft arm has gone full on PowerBI crazy recently. The tool is really powerful and you can do some epic looking stuff. It's a shame there's no connector for Essbase, as it would mean we could forget all the half baked Oracle BI front ends.
