What film did you watch last night?

Paranormal 3... i hadn't seen any of the other ones but as it was halloween i thought why not. I had heard by people its the scariest film they had seen and that some even left.

It didn't scare me one bit although i did have the anticipation feeling in my stomach waiting for something to jump out/happen but nothing did :( 4/10

127hrs

Never been a fan of Boyle films, and this didn't change that either, some climber/canyoneer gets his hand stuck by a rock, spends the whole film hallucinating and drinking urine, then decides to cut it off and make his way out.

4/10

Red Riding Hood, lovefilm rental chosen by the Missus.

I was expecting it to be awful based on the reviews its got but we both thought it was pretty decent. One of those films where you are happy to watch it as part of a rental package but wouldn't have wanted to go to the cinema to see.

A Serbian Film, watched the uncut version for the second time in quite a short space of time.

It still offends my eyes and pretty much every thing else.

Paranormal Activity 3

Nowhere near as good as the first two. So predictable and it uses such cheesy attempts to make you jump. The babysitter going out of shot and then suddenly jumping in to view and shouting 'Boo!' at the camera is a classic example of what this film is about. It is still creepy in places and all the haters should try watching these films on your own, in the dark with a decent soundsystem cranked up.... you WILL jump :)

To fair we had the experience pretty much ruined by the usual morons in the cinema, talking, munching through endless packets of maximum rustle packaging, etc. First time I've been to the flicks for a while and I won't be going again anytime soon

4/10 (would probably score higher in a better environment)

Bad Teacher

Worst film I have seen for a long long long long long long long time, couldn't even finish it

Friends with Benefits.. 7/10 was decent.

I thought it was brilliant.

Predictable, yes. But like all rom com they follow the typical rom com arch and this is no different. However, each scene was a gem, I haven't laughed so much from a movie in ages!

8.5/10 from me. Tempted to give it a 9!

Also saw No Strings Attached

Same concept as the aforementioned movie but not as good, not even close, i think i laughed once.

5/10 (Natalie Portman stops it getting a 4)

Ilsa-She Wolf Of The SS - 6/10

Seventies horror/smut. Not exactly the sort of film you would watch with the family or the mrs but i had a good laugh at various points in the film.

Just got back from seeing contagion.

For what it is 10/10.

Soderbergh once again assembles a top cast, does everything it needs to do without going ott, perfect pace, screenplay, art direction, everything....

So refreshing to watch a film this year with such depth on a simple tag storyline, there's nothing shallow, so many different arc's on the same theme.

Well enjoyed, even though im no fan of the we're doomed theme. I don't like to be reminded how people would react in such an event, went in cold, the quality of the film won me over.

The Good, The Bad, And The Weird

Not too bad for a Korean remake of the legendary original 7/10
