what frightens you most?

Aliens vs Predator 2 playing as the marine and Doom 3.

My work colleagues recommended that I see a psychiatrist, so I guess the fear of actually being mentally unstable and not being able to live a decent life. However they could just be trolling me, so another would be claustrophobia underwater.

Snakes, they are pointless, evil buggers. I can't trust an animal that has no arms, legs or wings that can also travel at speed to kill me.

I was always afraid of them but when I was 5-6 I went to the zoo with my family and my brother was desperate to go into the reptile house so I was dragged in. I stood in the middle of the room with my eyes closed (if I can't see them, they can't see me right)? I suddenly felt something heavy get placed around my neck, it moved, I screamed the place down. A zoo keeper was taking a snake back from one of the show and tells and for god knows what reason saw me and decided to put the snake on me. Fear instilled for life

I'm also don't like slugs, they freak me out

I hear that it is believed that Asperger syndrome can be genetic, and even though i only have a very mild form of it: my biggest fear is if my children will inherit it from me.

Those monkeys on wheels in Return to Oz, 'wheelers' I think they were called. *shudders*

EDIT: They weren't actually monkeys, just blokes with wheels for feet and masks. That whole film is downright scary, can't believe I used to watch it as a kid.

the talking heads were also damn scary.

Totally agree with you! Its scared the **** out of me when I was little as well! Probably still does!

Am always scared of not doing the right thing. Sometimes I wish my conscience wasn't so prominent in my decision making and that I could just not give a ****. But I do

Losing my family and going blind. Those are my 2 biggest fears.

Things i am only slightly less fearful off are wasps, moths and the Xenomorph from Alien. I still watch the sodding films though :o

Definitely nuclear war. I read "Children of the Dust" when I was a kid and it freaked me out. I absolutely would not want to survive a nuclear war - I would want to be right under the bomb as it went off please.

If there is nuclear war I will be underneath a bomb....living in Cheltenham, home of GCHQ, has it's advantages......all I'll hear is the bang
