What game has the best graphics?

Why is no-one creating good graphical games? Crysis has been the best which is 3 years old.
How well does your PC right now run Crysis on highest settings with AA / AF - good resolution? (no need to answer)
There are plenty of developers making worse looking games that perform quite badly and you would rather they took a crack at besting Crysis visually?
Because Lemmings is still fun to play, and most people visit Crysis only once.

Metro 2033, Crysis, Mafia 2, GT5
The hardware needed to run graphics like that are still to this day extremely expensive, so there's a very small audience. It's not worth developing a game of Crysis' calibre for such a small demographic, which is why Crysis 2 has gone multi-platform. There simply isn't any money in it anymore.
People say Crysis is coded badly and I still think developers should make some more graphical demanding games... so what if it doesn't run good?
thats the point in upgrading and new/better technology coming out?
when Crysis got released everyone wanted to max the game just out of principle and not to play it.

I do however agree with you saying that for the time crysis was made its amazing that its still considered by most to be the best looking game ever,however i do think graphically Metro 2033 is better
Of course it's going to be better it's made in 2010, crysis was made in 2007.
The people who say Crysis is coded badly are those people who didn't read / listen once to the developers say many times in interviews prior to release that the games maximum settings weren't intended to be playable for years to come and that the engine was even then capable of much more.
Arming themselves with the ignorance of having never followed the development of the game they saved their pennies and proceeded to buy it. Which is fine, not everybody is interested in such things; but here is where the problem stems.
When they witnessed their precious £400 graphics cards failing before their eyes a pretty vicious case of the butthurts kicked in and in effort to absolve their PC of responsibility they moved to form a baseless opinion that it's down to bad coding which despite having it's roots firmly wedged into aforementioned ignorance, they are quite happy to declare confidently on whichever forum they choose to infest.

Crysis changed our hardware dramatically and we need more demanding graphical games.
i doubt crysis made much of a difference to hardware.
most games dont make use of the hardware we do, the hardware is quite far ahead of the games we have usually.
only a small number of people actually have top end hardware, so spending millions to create a game that can only be used by a handful of people is pointless.
u sometimes get some games that do try to push the hardware to thier limits, but a lot of the time they dont sell too well coz not many people can actually play it
