What game 'hooked' you the most?

only the one game....Age of Empires2, could simply play the game for hours on end, without knowing how much time had passed. i mean were talking 6 hour sessions feeling as it were like an hour :D
 
Startrek: Armada

The original not the sequel. Soooooo easy to lose hours and hours in a "quick skirmish". I still play it every now and again now.

Far Cry for me. It's one of the only PC games i have ALMOST bothered to finish! Excellent, atmospheric game that i must play again. :)
 
soooooooooo many good games mentioned in this thread

ace combat series, worms world party were 2 that made my face light up with glee

i havent played a computer game for about a month now by my reckoning, 845 ig for the lose!!! :mad:

new set up ordered tho so no more celeron to stop me (if you dont know i play a lot of source)
 
My top games that hooked me the most in order of appearance were:

1) Starcraft, i played that game to death for months.
2) half life, i remember login into Wireplay and waiting an hour before anyone else turned up, then as it got more popular joined and formed the clan [CM] colonial marines. think i played upto the end of the second HLCCL.
3)Got shown Everquest by a friend in 1999, and got hooked on that like nothing before, i finally quit i think in 2004.

nothing has really hooked me since then
 
City of Heroes. I was in the EU Beta and was hooked on that for a very long while, played it pretty much every day for 5-6 hours at least... more on weekends.

Front Line Force for HL had me hooked as well. It wasn't a very popular mod compared to some, but the community was awesome.
 
FEAR, by far the most addictive and also the best game I have ever palyed as far as single player experience. Nothing else comes close.

Tomb Raider Legend hooked me pretty well, but like with Half Lfe 2 the main thing that kept me going was too see how good the graphics are.
 
I guess hooked signifies how long I played it for, then it would be diablo 2 and the expansion pack, 2 1/2 years on that game,

then UO, 1 and a half years on that,

then WoW but only about 8months on that and will never go back either.

UO is one of the best games I've ever played, but aside from that I played CS: S since its release and call of duty was good at the time played that a lot.

Right now in stasis cause can't find a game I really want to play :)

play it every day (if im at home obviously, but i dont go out of my way to stay home just to play, if you get what i mean)
 
MoH:AA played it all the time from as soon as i got in from school to i went to bed loved it !

i still play it only occasiaonally public but nothing else !

i was only in one clan #px|Clan for the whole of my mohaa time with the same people and had a rly *** time i was the only english guy in the clan the rest was swedes n one ducth guy but they where really great guys.

one thing i regret was not going to visit them when they had a small LAN wouldv'e been great but its too late now !
