Has more and more games are released and expectations continue to grow what is the thing you most want from PC gaming?. For me it has to be:

The option to have widescreen and custom resoultions in game has an option from the start without patches, hacks, etc.

This is why the gaming industry is going to ****. People's #1 concerns are "OMG graphics!"

Here's mine:

1. More gameplay. Better gameplay. Longer gameplay. That is all.

An mmo with a strictly enforced over 21's policy. Don't know HOW they'd enforce it, but I'd love to see what kind of difference it would make to the community in an mmo.

Aren't all Games for Windows to be Widescreen compatible. I am sure I heard that on one of the PC Gamer podcasts a few weeks back. Personally I would forsake killer graphics over quality content any time. There are some very god game developers out there but they very rarely get the shelf space their games deserve.

I hope so has a widescreen gamer better resoultion options would be appriciated.

I don't think it is wrong for us to want good graphics these days has we spend enough on graphics cards, etc.

I agree though gameplay is very important and it goes without saying that getting the gameplay right is and should always be the main target.

I do have an intrest it what I call arcade games similar to what you would get on XBox360 arcade marketplace. I recently got a few from MSN games for Vista and they are very good. It goes to show you can make a good looking and good fun game without it having to be some massive budget production.

More gameplay, less bugginess at release. If they are going to go to town on the graphics then at least make it more scalable/run well. I hate games that idolise graphics at the expense of gameplay. Also titles developed for multiple formats (PC, consoles) should make the effort to address the strengths of those platforms....I hate direct console ports for PC. Use the PC's strengths to advantage if you are going to do it, or don't bother at all.

I'm with him. After being disappointed with Doom3 I fired up the original Doom, with the JDoom addon. Despite the still pretty lacklustre graphics, it was WAY more fun than Doom3. Game designers seem to feel that as long as it looks pretty, nothing else matters. sadly, much of the game-buying public seem to agree.

M

Content.

Ability to have extra add ons, make the game last longer.

Graphics. But something other than WOW grpahics for MMO's.

Free download to try the game before buying it.

Agree totally. I am under 21 but i agree. I dont play MMOs anymore anyway but from a short period of playing one the thing that struck me is how immature most of the players are and it just put me off in the end. Really annoying! The same applies to CSS sometimes. "u r a totl n00b!!" its like.... grow up!

Would do no good for the company though as they would loose money from the thousands of under 12 yo gamers not being allowed to play.

Anyway, game play is the most important thing to me and then graphics. But its only when both are outstanding that a great game is created.

Card payment, could make a true fallout MMO with hookers and drugs and gore.

I think that's a really good idea. They could do it so there is a community of gamers under 21 and then a seperate community for 21 & over.

GTA online

the pvp would be amazing. rocket launchers firing off everywhere etc

with raids to gang bases for the pve'ers

could be the greatest game ever made

some1 makes that and i will be happy

but anything else, no thanks :)
