From reading the other comments I agree with most, HL1 (which I bought off steam only a few months ago as I couldn't wait for EP2) was absolutely massive and took me days to complete, especially the level where you have to do the long jump 100s of times. Only game I've never completed was s.t.a.l.k.e.r. got into chernobyl then upgraded my pc and formatted the disc, had no will to play it again. Also DiRT, but thats because its waay to easy, and very samey. 
However I used to play DAOC for 5+ years so many of the games I played were while taking a break from that, also ventured into WoW, which I gave up on at lvl 59 because frankly its rubbish
