I currently use the Logitech G5 and it's fantastic.

As I'm ordering a new build imminently, I've ordered a new mouse, which happens to be the Logitech G500.

Razer Lachesis with an eXactMat took a bit to get used to but i love it now, came from a logitech mx revolution loved that mouse but it kept loosing its signal. Only play fps's with a wired mouse now.

You can have my Razer Mamba when you pry it from my cold, dead hands.

I'm going to buy a second one now I have a laptop.

You seem to be the only one who owns this mouse. Is it a bad mouse, or is it the expensive that puts people off?

The Deathadder seems to be a winner atm. What are Razer's CS like. I have read many good ones about Logitech's.

I am left handed so have to use ambidextrous mice.

Used an MS Laser Mouse 6000 for years which is still in fine fettle, apart from the wheel is a little loose now. It has now been relegated to the office machine.

Currently using a Steelseries XAI, which I only bought due to the shape as it is very similar the the 6000. Really cannot fault it.

MX518.

Had mine for over a year now and it's just brilliant, can't see me replacing it for a good while either but if/when I need to, it will no doubt be with another MX518.

If I was you though I'd probably risk another mouse just for the fun of it :p

Rokkat Kone.

Not a well known company but there peripherals are miles ahead of anyone else on quality and cost.

as of post #73, the MX518 is winning!

I use a G5 but only because somewhere was selling them for about £15 a few years ago, I wouldn't have bought it at the prices most places were charging at the time, i'd have stuck with a 'normal' mouse :p

I've got a Microsoft Sidewinder (The first one, forgot the name).

I like the arrangement of the 4th and 5th button. It took a while to get used to, however I prefer it now.

The software is also very easy to use for setting macros and such.

Lastly, I think it looks brilliant!

The only downside (Not sure if it's the same on the X8) is the mouse-wheel. It's TOO smooth, it makes rolling a precise amount of times a little difficult meaning I often overshoot. When used to change weapons this gets annoying.
