They played a very similar set and used a very similar setup to the concert in Iceland in 2005, which is exactly what I wanted. It was just absolutely mindblowingly amazingly good and I told the mates I was with to wait until Popplagio (I knew they'd finish with it once I realised they were using the silk screen, and had the brass band), because it would blow them away.

I was right :D

Best.concert.ever.
 
Agreed, they were fantastic. Shame there was no gong, but popplagið was stunning with addition of the white-screen/visuals. njósnavélin and the sublime svefn-g-englar were the other highlights for me.
 
I would glady have swapped Gong for svefn-g-englar, but it was still absolutely amazing.

Manchester concert had a lot of morons in it though, in particulary one long blond haired eejit who I had to clip around the ear to make him shutup.

I'm taking my 8 yr old son to see Iron Maiden in december.I last saw them live in september 86.They were great live then!!!! lol :D

Idiots at the Hammersmith gig too :(

Some idiot who was screaming during Glosoli, which completely ruined it.
Tards clapping before the songs have finished, because they obviously don't know the first thing about Sigur Ros, and just bought Takk because they saw it in their local HMV.
Tards clapping DURING THE DRAMATIC PAUSE IN THE DAMN SONG (I think it's the Vlorar one, with the video about the gay boy, can't be bothered to check right now), thus completely spoiling the whole point of the silence in the song.

Grrrrr.....

But still, the gig was absolutely amazing.
 
Iron Maiden (Manchester) in December. Been a long time since I saw them so I am really looking forward to it

Fantastic live, really jolly atmosphere from the band to the crowd :)

Unlike a lot of gigs these days where everyone gets arsey on the way out
 
WOW! Sigur Ros last night was the most amazing musical experience I've ever had. I was right at the very back of the Hammersmith and dispite them being very small It was still a good view. I was gripping the handrail with all my might when the encore of popplagið came on. Such powerful music.
 
Just got back from InFlames. Awesome, best gig I've been to! if you like the heavy, be sure to check them out on their next UK dates!

Erm aint seen much of them tbh, they def wont be playing the small gigs
that ive seen them at in the past, they got a webby i think have a look
see if they have anything going

They were supposed to be playing the Wulfrun
but i heard that about 6 months ago and nowts happened
