What have you done to your car today?

Got my oil leak sorted. Sump was weeping at the seal so got that sorted. Give it a 6k oil change with Millers nanodrive. Also got an ecs tuning dogbone mount to stiffen it up a bit. Gear changes are now more smooth and crisp. Only issue is it does make the car viberate a lot more. It is worse on a diesel but I can live with it.

Replaced this today with the red one I got.

You can see the broken bit at the bottom right (this is crack all the way to the center) and the crack up the center thats been there since I got the car three years ago.

Hand tighten the screws I hope ? :d they've got the spring to keep the light in place so there's no need to tighten them up. I don't think that coupes suffer the same cracking issue.. other than my LEDs actually dying. I did take it apart after you mentioned it at the last meet and once it's off the car they all work.. assembled it again and the last 3 are dead until you tap it :D going to get a new unit soon. £85 from Germany.

Yeh hand tighten them but I think they may be too tight. Didnt seem to fit as well as the old unit but that might just be due to the age of the seal. I plan to leave it a few days then losen them a tad. If it cracks in the furture ill throw a hissy fit at BMW and get it replaced under warrenty.

Fixed the rollas exhaust again, this time hopefully permanently! The old clamps were a type which only compress a small amount and they werent tight enough. Hence the joiner coming undone even though it felt like i had done it up really tight. Now have more typical crush type clamps on it.

New front discs and pads. Got ATE front discs for £295 and Textar pads for £40. BMW discs were only slightly more expensive, but I really wanted the ATE ones with the zinc coating so the bell doesn't go rusty.

R36 has been written off by the insurance company due to someone piling into the back of me, so excuse to trade the TT in and get a one vehicle solution again.
Well that's a bit **** considering the faff you had with the engine, etc?
You get a decent price at least?
