I bought a £50 one... to only find it on Aliexpress the week after delivery for £10... lol
Cover looks good although it seems odd how, in what looks like a fairly new car, a wheel could get 'cracked and beyond repair'?!
Royal steering wheels. They’ll re trim the original to your preferred spec.I’ve no idea to be honest. I didn’t take a before photo but it was pretty bad. It wasn’t worn from use but maybe sun damage at a guess.
I bought the car with the intention of just getting a new steering wheel but thought I’d try the cheap cover for now
Topped up the oil in the RX-7. Trying to decide if the slightly-louder-than-normal turbo spool noise is due to the cold weather or something I should be concerned about.
It will tell you at some point.
Checked the Coolant level on the Kuga - back to the Minimum again (was topped up from just below Minimum 6 weeks ago).
Booked in for an investigation next Tuesday
Still covered with a warranty from the dealer for another year.
Car back from garage
They can find no obvious coolant leaks, they pressure tested it and also tested the coolant for combustion gas but can find no issues.
I've therefore decided to start looking to replace the car, as no confidence that it isn't an eco boost time bomb waiting to fail![]()
I filled mine with wee, then got it serviced and MOT'd at the main dealer.
My wee was so much cheaper than theirs!!!![]()
No residue anywhere, no leaks from the other common places like plastic thermostat housing, expansion tank.Thought about taking it to another garage? If the car has last some 500ml of coolant in 6 weeks there should be some sort of residue left over. If it hasn't gone into the engine/oil - it must have leaked out. Have you had any sort of work done on the car recently that could have possibly caused an airlock?
Also, is there any white residue around the coolant reservoir's cap or on the reservoir anywhere?
*Confused nodding*
