The machines that go with the names have been changed and moved about various times but yes Pluto always has been for 'lesser' devices such as an iPAQ PDA I had, and a WRT54G I was using as an extra switch

My machines tend to be named after anime characters, although there isn't really a naming scheme anymore (at one point it was Rei, Asuka, Misato for the computers, Magi for the routers).
At the moment they are
Alvie - mum's machine (an old athlon 1000)
Tachikoma - my machine
Misato (retired) - an old athlon 850 kept as a spare
Kusanagi - my dad's machine.
I'm trying to think of a name for my new machine )
