what headphones do you own thread - i own dt150's :)

Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro. The wired version. Performance is good. I do struggle with prolonged use comfort, but even the velour earpads on the beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro weren't comfortable on my jaw after prolonged use.

Ordered a pair of B&W PX8 after listening to them last weekend in Sydney. I'm not an audiophile but I am in the market for a decent set and this one was head and shoulders above the other's I've tried. Hefty little price on them but it should be good for a few years.

They do looks the business. I should really try a set but I was disappointed with the B&o H95 vs my old Momentum 3. It's seems these premium brands charge more for the name and luxury perception rather than ultimate sound Q.

I've got the Baseus Bowie Max on deck and man I don't know what they were thinking. It's a £109 noise cancelling headphone on offer currently for 40% off though even that is a stretch to my ears.

Avoid, muffled mids, the only "good" sound is when ANC is on, all other modes mute out everything, can't use ANC when wired, can't use them as USB-C headphones, soundstage does not exist....But hey at leats the earpads are memory foam?

They make great smart home devices like cameras and power banks etc, don't think headphones are their lane :/

In other news, this guitar boogie isounds amazing on the Arya

There's guitar giants and then there's Tommy Emmanuel - I'm sure he's an alien

Giving the new shebang a quick test. The AR5000 headphones are very detailed and muscial. Great soundstage with tuneful bass and don't need amplification to sound OK. The entry level Hifiman headphones(and some of the more expensive ones I have tried) do have better extended bass IMHO.

Px8s are probably the most romantic wireless cans I have tried, literally all music sounds loving. Also most comfy hps I ever tried.. they have right angle drivers so your ears can breath easily.

They may not be the most detailed compared to say plannar hps, but overall they sound more fun and better.

I miss mine so much, trying to get back to them!

Trying the nova pro wireless from steelseries.... and there oddly very good sounding hps for a gaming set. I only use them for TV and music but there close to my PX7s just a bit short off higher end offerings like the PX8s.

The plannar based hps still have more detail then anything but there not as fun.

Hifiman are doing unveiled for more models now it seems, people are FOMOing for sure and buying unveiled, otherwise I see little point in the range given how fragile they are and need to be using the covers when not on the head etc.

I like them, I can't comment on the build quality which seems fine. Am concerned that their warranty was rubbish but hey ho. I'd have gone for an HD800S to be honest but couldn't justify the cost and Arya stealths had come down so much in price I took the leap. Honestly though I think my old hearing just doesn't notice unless I A/B them. I'd say if anything the difference is in the bass which is a bit lacking on the HD650's.

The bass impact is a world apart between the two for sure, HD650 isn't bad, it's musical, but the Ananda Nano and Arya series are on another level by comparison, even the Sundara is a step up in bass vs the HD650 and HD660S2 for the time I had those!

Shure SRH1540, Had them years now, had to wrap the headband with something as the padding there started falling to bits but the sound is good :)
