what headphones do you own thread - i own dt150's :)

Sennheiser HD555's and PC 363D. The HD 555's are used with an X-Fi Extreme Music sound card and of course the PC363D's use the USB 3D G4ME1 device. The HD 555's combined with the X-Fi produces a better listening experience in music and games and is more comfortable to wear than the PC 363D, I have had the HD 555's for quite a long time so maybe the PC 363D needs breaking in, the PC 363D is tight on the head and temples and the microphone sounds no different to the microphone on a 25 quid cheap pair of headsets with mic like the creative fatal1ty that I tried out. The PC363D G4ME1 usb device has dolby technology built in but in game and music is just fake surround, sometimes difficult to tell but I suppose this would depend on the games audio development?.

I use a pair of Sennheiser HD800s for anything music related, but I need to get myself some cheaper general purpose headphones. I certainly don't fancy cable tie'ing a Track IR clip to those beauties.

This is what I have:

1. Grado GS1000i: For my main audio setup, connected to a NJC Monitor II & DAC.

2. Audio Technica ATH-M50: Mostly for music while I travel where portability is not much of a concern or to use at work.

2. Sennheiser IE8i: Mostly used now for when I feel I may need the microphone or when it's inconvenient to be carrying the M50s. These used to be my main travel headphones but they had a tendency to keep slipping out of my ears.

Good lord!! Impressive!

Hd 25 ii.

Good bass, treble and easy to drive, isolation and probability use, clean sounding and crisp.

A popular pick for djs i think and what i have read.

They sound good.

Not just DJs but for TV as well, BBC tend to use them a lot and the versions with the mics.

AKG Q701 with Fiio E6. They're fantastic, if they ever break then I'll probably buy another pair. Not great if you're really into bass though.

Asus Xonar DG 5.1 with Sennheiser 515's. Prior to the 515's I owned set of Razer 5.1 'gaming' headphones, the sound quality was very good but I found the surround sound feature of them to be gimmicky and they got hot after about an hour of use. Also the extra speakers made them heavy so after a prolonged period of use the weight of heat of them made them uncomfortable to wear, the best thing I every done was getting those returned and buying a the Sennheisers instead.

My next move will be upgrade the sound card, it's a bit better then onboard audio as you don't get the interference noise but the headphone amp is a bit of a feather weight. Anyone got any suggestions?
