A pair of heavily cracked HD595's and DT770's.

I have to turn the volume up quite a bit more switching to the 770's using a Xonar DX and the sound is a LOT different in games switching from open to closed back.

I have a question that has been bugging me for a while: what music is everyone listening to with these £200+ headphones?

Just curious whether it's all perfectly created classical stuff or thrown-together pop.

Most people listen to a variety of music from jazz to blues to pop to hip-hop and acoustic/electronic etc. Well that's me anyway.

Anything that has a good feel to it L listened.

Lifting the stats from MusicBee, the artists I've been listening to the most are:

Natalie Merchant
Joe Bonamassa
Eric Clapton
Gillian Welch
Patty Griffin
Tedeschi Trucks Band
Norah Jones
The Black Keys
Sade
Led Zeppelin
Steely Dan
Joe Satriani
Aerosmith
Ed Sheeran
Agnes Obel
The Cranberries
Dire Straits
Michael Hedges
Dan Tyminski
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Joe Bonamassa
The Black Crowes
Al Di Meola
Beth Hart
Arctic Monkeys

I listen to everything from the Sex Pistols to My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park to Beethoven and a load of 70s and 80s stuff thrown in for good measure. Whatever takes my fancy really. I travel a lot and the Shure 535s have been a faithful companion on many a flight, sound great, easy to carry and comfortable enough to fall asleep wearing them.

Just one of the best music players out there :p

Crap?
Lol it's anything but crap tbh. That's how "I" have my layout as it suits my monitor and how I have windows positioned. All the necessary content visible as needed.

Ahh, I live in theSpotify mobile apps you see!

Last.fm seems to think we're 'super' matches so now trawling through your scrobbles like a gentleman.

I will browse too after a quick game, I don't think I've actually added anyone other than yourself on there and maybe one other friend. I should add more :D
