I've got 3 lids, hopefully at some point 1 will be replaced though.

I've got a plain silver Box lid - This is pretty much a budget job I use when I may have to
I've got a plain black Arai RX7-GP which replaced my RX7 (had it stolen a day after dropping it down a concrete stairwell)
Finally, this is my lid for commuting

I'd like to add a Fox V3 Carbon to my collection at some point for off roading

Arai bought years ago , 2003 infact, bought for the quality and the looks, awesome fit still looks good and is very comfy and pretty quiet , well over due a replacement :s

Sorry, I've only just seen your question.

I'd pick the XR1100. It's quieter and the chinstrap is far more comfortable. The ventilation on the XR is amazing as well, something I'm looking to make the most of in the summer. It also comes with a pinlock visor as standard.

HJC HJ14 or 15 or 16 are good helmets.

Bange my head quite seriously with all of them and still compus mentis.

i have a dainese performance helmet now - bought it coz it looks good and i needed one after i wrote off all the helmets i have or they went out of date (ACU allow helmets up to 3 years to be used).

In the end I got a AGV K3

Fits the best out of all I tried really light aswell with a 4 star rating very pleased my quest is over
