PlusNet 40Mb down but get 30Mbs and 2Mbs up.

Isn't the fastest, but it's damn stable and it's cheap. Never had any ping problems when gaming.

I have 20Mb virgin I get pretty constant 19Mbps download and a good low ping on games but I do think that upload speeds are pretty low on virgin as I only get about 0.75 Mbps. you would think it should 20 : 2 at least.

I am in luton, and jusy tried Milton Keyns on the test, and my dl speed was only 6.2Mb/s
Then i tried a London server and got this

Im actually surprised that my mobile broadband is faster than so many peoples regular briadband.

Its running at 4 Mbps download atm.

At best, 11Mb/s download speed, with TalkTalk. Ping is, at best, 30ms. Upload speed is dismally low at 0.6 Mb/s max.

BT;

i thought it was quite good for north devon, BT has done some major improvements in the area, 2 years ago i was getting about 2mb/s max! not going to be getting fancy fibre optic stuff here for a while though, its not on BTs list at all

I'm currently with Sky Broadband on their 20MB Unlimited package, I get 16MB/s download and 1MB/s upload. BT Infinity is coming to my area soon so I'll be switching to them, maybe Sky Fibre if it's available before though.

Virgin Media isn't available for me, but I'm not complaining.

I used to be with VM for many years, eventually got sick of their support though. Were always a nightmare when trying to get anything sorted out if it went wrong... which wasn't often granted.

Had the choice of VM or BT Infinity in the new house when I moved, glad I chose BT. So far
