What is the Uk power supply?

Does anyone else reckon based on this thread and dvdbunny's other adventures we may one day find one of his escapades chronicled as a Darwin award?

He's the most successful troll we have. Every single thread he creates reaches 5 pages because people just keep biting.

Even if he is really doing all this young enterprise rubbish, why on earth he wouldnt join a financial/business/enterprise/entrepeneur(sp) website is beyond me, rather than bother us with this continued dirge of cryptic information that probably has no basis.

do this..

put a slice of bread between the plug and the socket, each slice of bread soaks up roughly 120v

you will need to replace this slice of bread every two weeks or so, or it will become mouldy

Okay you guys say I need a step down transformer, but like I have already said the socket that goes into the mains reads transformer, so how can I go from a transformer to a transformer? Shouldn't I use a travel adaptor like the manufacturer has told me to do so?

I just want to get the right plug/adapter/transformer because I hope it will be compatible with other devices I am getting from the USA like the logitech g25 steering wheel.

I juiced my copy of Crysis, from America once - it juiced but made me feel very sick after ingesting ... I thought I could run the game. I was going to citrus press it but it was incompatible with the game.

Setting: Kitchen/bedroom, Age:19, Stomache:empty/moderate, Health: fairly healthy male, 80kg.

+0h.00m - Took Crysis from my Pentium 4 machine which is very top spec but budget and runs the game on ultra high with at least 40fps.
+0h.00m - Juiced Cysis DVD and cases with included booklet/paper.
+0h.00m - Ingested what was juiced (about 95%+)
+0h.10m - Nothing yet, decided to listen to music and surf the web.
+0h.21m - Felt a little different, kind of like being a little drunk (about 1-2pints drunk)
+0h.40m - The feeling became very intense, I was unable to stand and I felt very poisoned ... like after eating raw and out of date pork which I did once because after making a thread about it on OcUK being safe or not to eat someone said it was safe but that too made me sick for days, (felt like about 20+ pints)
+1h.00m - The room began to spin real fast, I felt my heart pumping fast, nasua kicked in, my face was flushed.
+1h.10m - (THIS PART IS LIVE) I feel really sick and ill, I feel like I should contact 999 but I am unable to move from the toilet.
+1h.15m - I vomit about 6 times and lose the abilty to breath properly.
+1h.30m - I keep vomiting, all this green stuff comes out. I shout for help.
+4h.00m - I wake up from a short coma, feeling hungover, vomit is all over the floor. (well that green stuff again is)
+10h.00m - I feel back to base line.

All in all I would say the experience was worth it, because now I can write about it in chapter 26 of my Novel. The experience though felt like hell and costed me a copy of Crysis, I don't think I will try that again, next time I'll post a thread on OcUK to verify if it's safe or not.

What does the "transformer" say on it..
I mean the bit with the pins on it that you would put in the wall socket (if it fitted)

No, no, no, no, no! Trust us, you need a transformer. Having two transformers is of no consequence. The electricity will have been through several transformers before it gets to your house. (The voltage will be stepped up to travel over power lines with minimal loss, and stepped down at the other end, then probably stepped down again before it gets to your house.)

Once again, stop buying stuff from the USA. Some people are well-suited to saving money through ingenuity. You're not one of them.
