If that is true, I think the 3870X2 will be a winner, but FUD seems to have a really bad rep so ya know..

Do they intend on spreading ****? Is that why they called FUDZILLA? As FUD means crap really dont it?

This is rip-off UK as well, so god knows how much it will be here, id say £400 at least.

If the 3870X2 is priced right, then things could be looking up for AMD, roll on the 28th.

people are always cautious with them as they do seem to throw some "odd" news out there. but they have been right on a few surprise things. the 2900 for one

If it was £350 I'd have no problem... but its more likely to cost much more than that here... I doubt it'll be a straight $ to £ swap tho it wouldn't suprise me - but its likely to be far more than £350.

Is there any examples of how much the same product is in the US compared to here? Some instances its half the price I think :eek:

For example, on Newegg.com the Asus EN8800GT is £132.79 were as on OcUK its 187.99 inc VAT :eek:

as I said before... Ultra price was a test for what is coming.... for now on you should expect us$700 or more for high end cards like this and the 9900gtx or whatever come in mid year....

$700 may convert to about £350 here, but come on, they are gona slap at least another £50+ on top of that.

Jesus, people who bought the 8800GTX must be well chuffed, heck the GTX might still remain 'king' by November 2008 giving it a 2 year lifespan!

I have high doubts the GX2 is going to work well in every game, GTX is king.
