What is your cold remedy of choice?

Boots own brand "Re-energise" have more tablets in the tube, they contain the same ingredients (I think some of the contents are higher), they're cheaper and they taste nicer.

I developed a horrible cold the week before Easter and it's taking forever to get rid of the cough :(
 
Beecham's Powders. That's what everyone I knew used for a cold when I was growing up and the smell is very distinctive.

I know that it's just aspirin and caffeine and some inactive ingredients. I understand that it works better than an aspirin tablet and some coffee for me for psychological reasons, but understanding a placebo effect doesn't necessarily stop it working.
 
I've only ever had a few but think the last was COVID as Vinegar tasted revolting (is this even a thing ?) but .......... Strongest pain killers known to Man as it's the headaches that do me in.
A few shots of single malt helps because A/ it helps kill the cold or B/ makes you care a lot less after a few,........delete as applicable

I would advise against mixing alcohol with opiods. It's a bad combination.
