What is your iPhone battery health (and how old)?

7 Plus, 100%, had it since new but stuck an upgraded aftermarket battery in it about a year ago when it had dropped to 80%.

iPhone 14 Pro Max bought November 2022. Charged to 100% every time…

iPhone 15 Pro Max 307 cycles battery at 90%. No excessive baby sitting the battery. Sometimes to 80 and sometimes to 100.

Got a 14, it's about 92% but starting to run out on day to day. I'll swap it next year when the new ones come out.

One thing I will say is since going back to the normal pro I’m noticing my battery life is really poor compared to the 15PM.

I’m having to take my battery pack with me most days, normally i’d only be if I knew I was going to be out for the entire day like going fishing, hiking etc

My 15 pro Max has just dropped to 87% over 374 cycles, first use Oct 2023. I feel this battery is weakening at a faster rate than my previous iPhones. I have been travelling quite a bit for work over this past year and as such have perhaps used the phone more than I ordinarily would, and I have been charging it more often with my Dell 65w laptop charger when away from home. However, when at home I wirelessly charge at 7.5w (max rate supported by iPhones over Qi-1) using my 10w Qi-1 charger. I plan to pass this phone down in the family next year when the 17 Pro Max comes out as I do every two years when I upgrade. I will have to replace the battery for £95 at the Apple store before I do this time though.

My previous 13 Pro Max which is still in the family is now on 84% at just over 3yrs old, so my 15 Pro Max really is not doing well in comparison. I have wondered whether more frequent charging using the 65w charger has degraded the battery faster, it can certainly get quite warm when fast charging, especially if the phone is in use at the time, which I now ensure I avoid.

iPhone 15 Pro Max
114 cycles
97% Capacity

got it in October 2023 - barely use it  but when I do it's for live streaming or managing my business

Interesting seeing folks with the same handset model, but some batteries wearing faster than others.

Isn’t this a case of all batteries not being equal? So, the reported battery capacity is 3000mAh but for some devices it’s actually 3100mAh. So given the same age and usage, the latter will take longer to start showing wear rate below 100%?

15 pro max 93% 269 charges. First use September 2023

I also feel this battery is deteriorating faster than my XR. Doubt it will go below 80 before next September during my two year AppleCare so that I can get a free replacement…
