What Kitchen gadget would you love to have?

Ooh yes, this is first on my list when I get my kitchen sorted.

I'd also like a pacojet

And either a polyscience water bath or immersion circulator

A chamber vacuum sealer would be nice

An anti-griddle.. that would be fun

Something like a kenwood chef would be good, but I'm not sure I'd use it that much, and i'd probably just make loads of cakes

I'd like a rotary evaporator and a centrifuge, but I think I would need a fairly large kitchen for that.

Very similar list!

Have you seen the price of a Pacojet

I should have a water bath and a vacuum pack machine next month though. :D

Keep an eye out as they often go on offer for £50 (the price I picked one up for).

They are really good for some things (brilliant for rice and the way you can have multiple things come together at the same finish point) but the pain thing is that the steam gets to all compartments to an extent so you have to wash it all afterwards even if you only used one of the small compartments.
It certainly does not have the convenience of non-electric steamers for just chucking sone vegetables in.

space for a dishwasher
hate washing up 5-6 times a day for the kids to then create more washing up!
5-6 times a day?!? Are you feeding an army?

I'd also second the dishwasher, though. Had one at the last flat, but don't have room at this one - 2 years withour a dishwasher is a living hell :(

Everything else is, frankly, secondary to this.

I got one for about half price just before Christmas. Worth it's weight in gold. It's just one of those products that oozes sturdy quality. It is pricey, but it'll be passed down through the family I suspect as it's built like a tank, very quiet and customisable.

We bought one about 6 years ago and it really is a wonder. My wife's aunt has had one for 50 years or so and it is still in perfect working order.

I doubt you would get the same longevity from a Tefal!

There's a teas maid - though only if you're up for some scalding! Someone I know sets the timer on the microwave to heat a cup of tea for him in the morning when he gets out of bed. You have to make sure there's a teabag in at the time though...

We've a Franke Boiling water tap. But I also added a chiller unit to it too so we also get chilled filtered water aswell.. And one less appliance on the counter

I know this thread is 10 years old but I've got to show you the most amazing gadget ever.
I don't know I haven't had one of these in my life before.
