Same here, will have to sell the surplus 1GB DIMM's but I doubt any Mac Pro '08 owners will be interested as most are using 2GB DIMM's.

The spec has now changed to 16GB of RAM and 3.64TB of storage

Memory was about £420, the 3 1TB Hard Drives were around £390, the 640GB Hard Drive was about £75 and the price of the Mac Pro was about £1900 which included 3 years of Apple Care, wireless keyboard & mouse (replaced with MX Revolution) and other goodies.
