What "man jobs" have you done today?

I'll do mine at some point, it's as big a difference as that (though mine is a Karcher).

As for today, I made a fire and then mowed the postage stamp of grass at the front of the house.

Then it started raining and ruined both mini projects :D

I tried doing my patio but the problem I had was the drainage. The water kept getting stuck in small channels so I couldn't blast it away towards the drain. Looks miles better but not as good as yours above. Great effort!

I get this, but I have a stiff-bristled sweeping brush to get around it. Use the jetwash to was down the flags, brush the standing water away, rinse and repeat :)

Carrying on what I have been doing for days - Painting fence panels - I hate it so much I do one side a day.

Try 1/4 of a ltr of bleach in bucket of warm water and brush on with good broom - be surprised what comes off - Then pressure wash

Today was the annual garage tidy, tool reorganisation & mass spider eviction via garden blower, patio pressure wash as well as BBQ clean, lawnmower deck fix (cracking in a couple of places so drilled holes at the end of each crack) & exhaust guard bodge. A productive one.

Replaced the washing machine handle, a part of the old one had snapped so the door wouldn't open.

After much head scratching because I'd forgotten how it came off, I turned the spring around and it works again :D

Over the weekend I replace a horrid old waste hopper and downpipe with nice new white ones to tidy up by the back door.

Need a minor bit of work to lengthen one of the waste pipes into the hopper a little but I should be able to sort that out easily enough.

Oh and I finally gave the lawn it's first cut.

I spent the weekend digging compost into the flower beds to try and break up the clay soil.
I've forgotten how much I REALLY hate clay soil :D
You watch these gardenning programs where they've got lovely loam soil and I'm all :mad::mad:

I was going to put a load of cocoa shells down as a mulch, but now reading that they can be harmful to dogs if eaten?

Started fitting out the under-stairs cupboard.

Small shelving unit made from 12mm ply. No screws - all housing joints, glued with a few brads to hold the joints while the glue went off. There will be a wider shelf fitted to the top when it's in place.
