Like you I never threw anything away and swept up all the rubbish and bagged it - Using it now for quick fire at night.
Have to confess I am not happy with oak logs - don't seem as good as mixed stuff I had before -
How did they describe the load - In weight or volume - Can I ask how much ?? --- My3.6 cubic meters cost me £220 which I thought was expensive - Gone are days when I was getting it for £10 for two ton.
I think last time i bought some it was £55 and for that i got 1 ton of logs, 3 bags of kindling, and 2 bags of some eco friendly heat log things.
Continued my loft boarding project. Didn't have too much time last night, but the bonus with all my tools and materials being in the loft and out of the way is that you can pop up for an hour, do a bit, and then leave again without having to tidy everything up.
Raped my front lawn with my new Bosch AVR1100 verticutter. Looks like the Somme now that I've also put iron sulphate down. Playing the long game though, as it's absolutely full of moss.

Spring and / or autumn according to lawnsmith.co.uk. I think we're nearing the backstop as the grass will stop growing fairly soon and new grass seed won't germinate, meaning it'll look rubbish until spring.Mine seriously needs doing too. Whats the ideal time window in which do do it? Hopefully I'll be able to borrow a machine from a relative.
If you scarify and seed this weekend you should be OK. If the grass seed fails it's hardly the end of the world...just do it again next spring.
