Sounds like your plaster is live and ideally you should just take it back to brick and replaster either drywall or wet plaster.Anyone remember the father ted episode where he damages the bosses car and keeps fettling the dent until he ends up with a cube of iron?
Yeah...that's where I am. I keep tapping around the walls to see if I discover any unbonded plaster. I am now left with dealing with this:
I hadn't realised to attach the cills, they bricked in - tongue and grove fashion - a block of wood. So as I was trying to lift the right hand side cill as it was a good 10mm out of plumb, more came off. Ce'st la vie.
Off to India tomorrow for a few days, so hoping I can at least slap some amount of muck on the walls so it is nice and dry when I get back on Saturday!
I think I might take a break from decorating/plastering monotony and start the floor in the other room....................
