lol I did have this fear in my head, so to the annoyance of 3/yo approaching bedtime I started smacking a few with a mallet. Came off no problem.

You can do it, try swinging with both arms.
Most did snap off eventually but not all came off cleanly and some ended up poking out of the grout afterwards, or if they weren't poking out they were visible.

Just had a week off work, had hoped to pull up the floor in garage and lay a damp proof membrane for Building Control to sign off, but ended up sidetracked finishing the wiring. Sorted out all the slack cable hanging down from the joists, built some trunking to bring it from the ceiling into the consumer unit without being exposed, and rewired the consumer unit to be neater. Moved everything in the large bedroom to the garage and lifted floorboards to get to the last 3 or 4 cables that need finishing up, but ran out of time/energy. Am with family for the next 3 days now.
Not done: mow lawn, weed lawn, wash car, address leaks in several windows/frames
I did spend the evening transferring my mum's WhatsApp database files from her old phone to new one though, after she got in a kerfuffle installing everything in the wrong order. Tomorrow I'd like a beer please.

Made decent progress for a day --- had totally forgot it is Easter Sunday tomorrow, so I had to ditch the last 2 bits of marble and bin what adhesive I had left to RACE to Wickes for another bag of adhesive so I can knock the floor out. I am surprised I haven't lost my license

Only thing id say is clean the adhesive off whikst it's dry or drying makes it 1000* easier
You appear to not have all your clips in?
Ive not done any jobs other than becoming a 1st time dad over the weekend

More like this week not today,Skip arrived Monday...
This was before the mrs ended the school run Monday, I thought an easy week, but then the hard work began. Previous owners "rubbish" started going into the skip.
This kept on going unfortunately, we then decided to level part of the garden (will post in gardens at some point as need some advice on some of it) so lots of manual work.
Was a broken man by Friday, though we were done then. One full skip. I rented a wheel barrow which worked out quite well for the job.

Shuffled up on to the roof yesterday, have had a leak coming through from the rear fire break wall top (it extends above the roof tiles about 15cm) so went over it with bitumen fibre paint (evercryl) as recommended by a neighbour.
Some neighbours have used it with success for the same problem to patch up where the concrete has cracked, have enough left over for a second coat but I hopefully will not need it.

Logged up log box by fire - then logged up wicker basket in porch -Then logged up bench box by back door porch -Put my fleece jacket on -closed all window to keep heat in.

Nope, staying with friends and she asked me to cut the tree overhanging her garden path. It blew half over in strong winds recently so was basically blocking the way.
Chopped down, snapped up, swept path, clear:
Given a nice reward at least... And then dragged into the garden by the 9 years old gardening assistant (bin stomper). Wanted to sit on the loungers despite sun going in and breeze picking up.
Mrs TB decided that today I would measure up to build a raised bed around the base of one of the trees near the gazebo
We have (had) a load of stone I dug up from the front garden which has been sat on the drive for well over a year and (stupidly) suggested that may look better and more in keeping (and cheaper) than a timber one
The stone
The two largest pieces are getting on for a metre long or so and are quite heavy
As demonstrated by the second largest piece in the wheelbarrow
The biggest piece was well well over 100kg probably over 150kg and I had to get creative to get the bugger into the wheel barrow
That was only part the problem as they all needed moving around 200m, up 10 steps then up the sloping lawn
After much huffing, pudding, straining and swearing I got all the pieces roughly into place and signed off by the boss before "commiting" any further
Being so close to the base of the tree I had to use my specialist digging tools ...

After much much more swearing and sweating I finally got them all dug in, backfilled and ready for compost and planting
Good God I'll sleep tonight and not sure how much standing up and walking round I'll be able to manage tomorrow

I had planned a full day but was surprised with a 12oclock pub lunch that was booked...
£72 down the drain for a mediocre roast.Anyway, got back and put in a half shift... end is near. I'm debating whether to finish the floor (lols ran out of adhesive again @200sols
) or crack on final fixing the bath. Ideally I'd like the floor done but then my knees will be banging those spacers

Yeah I'd love to have gone full fat (pencil bits etc) but the cost was outrageous. I kept looking and finally the 30x60s went on saleLooking good! I thought the tiles looked familiar
How come you didn't put the bath in before the tiles? Normally you would do that then put a seal /tape from the waterproof wall boards to the bath then tile on top?
I don't think it will matter 100% as you can pump it full of silicone when you tie the bath to the wall (make sure to sit the bath on battons!) then put silicone on the bath/tile interface.
Looks like you might be struggling on that niche to get a trim up to it but I'll wait and be proved wrong! Speedy work
I thought the accepted method was to tile first, bath in place, fill with water then silicone seal?
As I also thought and the way I've always done it.
