Are you sure it was sit on and not straddle? They've sold it now but one of my friends had a proper beast of a sit on mower. I think it cost £5k!

Must be some big bush to warrant a sit on.Not sure which bush you're thinking about trimming there
Walking around like a numpty is OK in this countryI did get to have a go on it. The mower, that is it was fun. Much better than walking around like a numpty (like I do).
Need to make sure you have the correct PPE if you're going to whack a big bushMust be some big bush to warrant a sit on.
But riding in style is much better. It's all about the self satisfactionWalking around like a numpty is OK in this country

It's really not... Hard water tastes rank for drinking IMHO
It really needs that hint of whiteHad the "day off" today. Covered the base of the garden room in leftover vapour barrier - fingers crossed that is sufficiently waterproof (just need it to last ~10 days).
Also finally wired up the circuit I put in for a side light, so I can finally stop putting recycling in the garden waste. I found the light in a box of old bits so will see tonight if its functional.
I still need to silicone around the pipework I did for the new bathroom as well....
I have learnt that as long as I am happy then id doesn't matter what anyone else thinksSpeaking from personal experience?
Don't worry I am planning some super special for the garden room guttering. It really needs that hint of white
I would say it's the other way round. Hard water tastes much better for drinking compared to very soft water. It's really not... Hard water tastes rank for drinking IMHO
Nice. What water softener is that?!Got my water softener yesterday and today jigged it all up so I can swap between my supplies quickly as I will only use it for final rinse.
Got one of those water testers and ours is 300ppm which at the top end of hardness in this country which is great for drinking water but terrible for washing cars!
Made a plinth for it to sit on, a ring to secure it to the wall and a few p clips to keep the plumbing tidy.
I am sure it will be great for cleaning the windows as well as the car so the missus is happy with that!
