What MMORPG are you currently playing?

Lotro - Lifetime sub but wont be buying SoM, only PvP interests me

Aion - enjoying it lots, numerous Alt's and loving PvP !

Yeah, LOTRO was the last MMO I played before Aion. Didnt think I would enjoy Aion, but found it had some of the old school attributes I seek in an MMO. Hence why I ended up finding myself enjoying it. It will last for a little bit, however after Aion theres nothing left in the MMO world that looks interesting to me or indeed anything which appears to contain what I seek in an MMO.

However , as I mentioned above, it could be said of gaming in general. I know for a fact that my time in gaming is coming to an end. I've thought about upgrading my machine again in the last few months, but decided in the end that there just isnt any point. I foresee a maximum of another 18months or so of gaming and then that will be it for me. Simple fact is that I just dont have the time for gaming any more..or indeed the inclination. Wife and Kid are reaching a point where they take over my life far more than gaming (and its better enjoyment too :D ). Mind you, I've been gaming for almost 3 decades so thats longer than I thought I would had you asked me 30 years ago :)
 
Darkfall Online

it has it's pitfall's and has it's advantages but I've not found another MMO that's been as good as when I first started playing WoW. Darkfall is the best out atm and is only getting stronger with the second expansion hopefully releasing next friday.
 
Subbed to Runescape and WoW atm. Finding them both a bit meh though atm, i just dont think im a big fan of mmorpg's anymore, take up too much of my time.
 
I play WoW well I did cancelled my subs 3 months ago
Really lost my way with the game. once i reached 80 died in ulduar a few hundered times i lost heart got fed up with dailies and just stopped logging in :(

I sound like a stuck record, but I miss the golden days of WoW pre-BC.

TBH, I'm kinda hoping for a WoW2 - everything new, fresh, clean slate, and everyone starting from lvl1. The expansions diluted the game for me.

I wonder if they'd ever do it? Or if they'll just keep expanding, or move to a totally new IP next time (which is whats planned for release in 2012, isn't it?). SC2 2010, D3 2011, new MMO in 2012?
 
I dived into Thang again recently. I can't believe how many hours I used to spend grinding individual levels on that game - it took about 2 weeks to level after 100, and I didn't spend a lot of time away from it. It became such a huge grindfest and nothing else, but the community made it all worthwhile. Now that my old guild's moved on, it's not worth me playing much any more - barely got to level 20, which is about a week's work.

There's an old vid of my guild in action somewhere, I'll see if I can find it.

Still stuck in WoW, though I'm not playing it nearly as much as I was since Naxx, mostly as our guild only really raids 2 nights a week. I'm finding myself losing interest in the game, hopefully the awesome SP games coming out on PC will pull me away. Dragon Age and MW2 are doing a good job so far...
 
I'm subscribed to Aion until February but I am quite tempted to return to WoW at some point too.
Daft really, I resub to WoW every 6 months or so then get bored within a couple of weeks because the only class I ever seem to enjoy is Hunter and I can never be bothered to grind my way up to the level cap :o
