iTunes, nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be. Especially if you are even slightly competent with windows, it can be made very slim

I don't like iTunes too. I have quite a lot of mp3s and sorting them in iTunes is nightmare. I only use iTunes to transfer mp3s to ipod and close it down as soon as possible.

WMP, I by far prefer the interface/media library of wmp over anything else.
Also use Spotify though.

I use Foobar because it works great. You can also make it look awesome.

I've tried iTunes and its an absolute nightmare. I drag and drop a single album, it bangs the tracks into random places and creates 20 seperate album entries in coverflo. Takes 10 minutes to sort everything manually.

I drag and drop an album into foobar and it groups it as an album perfectly and gets the cover art from folder.jpg. Takes 2 seconds to import an album.
