What PC games are you playing?

Nearing the end of Alan Wake. Certainly one of the dullest games I have ever played. Very very repetative. A story and atmosphere, which if you don't buy into immmediately, will just irritate you between rinse and repeat torch/shoot/kill baddie killings. The only point it gets slightly interesting is the act where you get two NPC helpers, and this is only because you get a little bit of interaction, AND you get to have a breather from the above rinse and repeat cycles, you just have to torch this time and save the chore of having to kill the enemies yourself. Very uninspiring enemies, including random inanimate objects thorwn at you for no reason, piles of stationary black goo(?!?) and swarms of crows. The weapons also suck. I am looking forward to finishing this game so I can forget about it.

I never finished it, due to the repetitive combat annoying me. Shame as I liked the atmosphere of the game

Still enjoying Dirt 3 at the moment and have started Metro 2033 in prep for getting Last Light

Perversely, I am more likely to finish a game I am finding dull and boring, because I know if I don't force myself to complete and and put it down, I know I will *never* return to it and then I will feel I wasted my money. Whereas normal games I might play for a bit and then move on to something else, but know I will eventually go back to it, even if it is months/years later.

I am really interested to see how the glut of people buying Alan Wake in that Humble deal at the moment find the game after a couple of hours.

Atm i am playing a lot of wow maily pvp as done all the pve as a healer lol. but playing max payne 3 a little of borderlands 2 and just got the metro game but havnt played tht yet but thts next on my list.

Finished metro 2033 and started Alan wake last night but thought I would take a break from thrillers so going to start sleeping dogs instead

Playing a lot of Smite at the moment.

Wasnt a fan of the click click click of LoL but find Smite actually quite fun :) Slightly boring on your own but with some mates its a good team game.

Paid £5 to get 2 characters and now have Isis, Hel and Freya :)

Getting back into Grand Prix 4. GPL and NASCAR Racing 2003 have been permanent fixtures on my racing sim list forever, but GP4 comes and goes. Mostly 'goes' in recent years because it never seemed to run right with Win7 no matter what I did with it (and the carset and track manager tools that let you run mods almost never worked at all with Win7 x64). Gave it one more go now that I'm running Win8, and it all just works. Go figure.

Now running a full championship season with the 1991 Mod, rewriting history by driving a Ferrari competitively (the 642 and 643 used that year weren't exactly high points in Ferrari F1 car design, though the 643 was at least a pretty car). I say competitively - I finish near the front when I finish, but the car breaks down a bit often!

Bioshock Infinite :)

I'm waiting for a full system upgrade before I start this!

In the meantime TF2, Planetside 2, The Secret World, LOTRO.

Just about to get started on DayZ. Lost patience waiting for the standalone.

Currently watching Kerbal Space Progam. Highly amusing to watch the attempts of one's clanmates on stream to enter orbit :D
