What phones have you had?

The order might be incorrect but here goes!

Nokia Orange 5.1
Nokia NK 502
Nokia 9000i Communicator
Nokia 7110
Nokia 6210
Nokia 8390
Nokia 7250
Nokia 6170
NEC flip phone on 3
Motorola RAZR V3
Samsung X820
Samsung X830
BlackBerry Pearl 8130
iPhone 3
iPhone 3GS
Sony Xperia X10
HTC Legend
iPhone 4
Samsung Nexus S
Samsung SGS II
Samsung Galaxy Nexus

too many to remember, in fact i cannot even remember what my phone was before my current one, think it was the N98.

i know now, that the way forward is to buy a cheap android phone for £100 each year. so next year i will most likely be getting the Monte Carlo 2 or whatever the equivalent is next year.

then selling that after a year and getting the MC3, etc.

no longer see the point in spending any more on a phone when a £100 jobby does everything you could ever want it to.

O2 simplicity or giff gaff for £10 a month will also be suffice.

I've had many phones but the Ericsson R380 was one of my favourites:

ericssonr380.jpg

First I had an Ericsson GA628
GA628.jpg

Got this on contract when I was in school... My mum found out about it and sent it back lol

Then the Phillips BT Cellnet one
bt-cellnet.jpg

Bought in 1999 for my drive down to Cornwall for the eclipse - for 'emergencies'

Then I had a Nokia 3210
original

First phone I bought myself, PAYG

Then a Nokia 8210
8210.jpg

First contract phone - had four in a row, each one the screen died after about three days... I then swapped to a:

Nokia 3330
41B8AEANRFL._SL500_AA300_.jpg

Much better phone - lasted me ages till I sold it after my upgrade to a

Nokia 3510i
imgNOKIA%203510i2.jpg

First dabble into the world of colour screens - made me feel amazingly 'with it' lol

Nokia 7250
51GRAKM4MVL._SL500_AA300_.jpg

First phone with a camera on, although it was absolute cack, it was still a camera lol

Motorola SLVR
Motorola-SLVR-L7c.jpg

Started as a red one from Tesco cos it was on offer, but I couldn't cope with that so it changed to black in about 3 hours lol

Samsung SGH-U600
samsung-u600.jpg

Bought for me by my girlfriend for a birthday - awesome phone :D unfortunately, PAYG was doing my head in so I had to change the handset with my contract for a:

Sony Ericsson C510
C510_catalog_mediaspace.jpg

Not a bad phone, but lacked some of the finish of the Sammy

Sammy Galaxy Portal/Spica/GT-i5700 (whatever you wanna call it!)
samsung_galaxy_portal.jpg

My current phone - first Android handset and I love it - it's low on RAM and sometimes as slow as a one legged camel but since I rooted/rom'd it it's so much better than stock!

For my upgrade from this I'm seriously torn between the SGS2 and the SGN... I'm definitely leaning more towards the SGS2 but time/price will be the decider when I upgrade in May :)

There will be a load of new phones out by then so I wouldn't worry about it for now.

They were my first 3 phones.. In that order too :O I lost the Nokia 3310 and i was mortified. Was only young but it was a cracking phone and you cant beat a game of snake!

I thought I was ****hot at the age of about 13 because most of my friends had the 3210 but my dad works for bt and at the time (when it was still bt cellnet) they could get good deals on mobiles so I was the first to get a 3310 :)

My car still displays the O2 signal as BT CELLNET! :D

Nortel m900 on contract with one2one in 1997. My parents thought I was mad by having a mobile phone. They also said that they would never have one themselves:D

After that I've had:

Siemans c25
Some big Motorola that could take 4xAA batteries
Nokia 402 (5110)
Nokia 3310
Nokia 8210

A sony flip phone that had a blackjack game on it! This was just before they became Sony Ericsson
Sony erisson t300, a cheap version of the T68i that came with a plug in camera!
Nokia 8310
nokia 6100

Samsung e900
Nokia 7810 (the first one)
SE K750i
Nokia 6280 (loads of very similar models so might not have been that exact one)
SE W810i
Nokia N73 - Worst phone I've ever had
Another W810i (see above:o)
SE W910i - sold because I couldn't get used to there being no spaces in between the keys. The final straw was when I was trying to type a 16 digit bank card number to pay a bill.
SE C902
Iphone 3GS

My favourites have been: 8310, SE W810i and Iphone 3GS. If it wasn't for smartphones with internet etc and I was just using a phone as a phone then I'm pretty sure I'd be happy with a SE w810i because that phone was about as good as you could get IMO and the battery would last upto a week.

Alcatel One Touch Pocket (whose pockets were that big?!?)
Motorola StarTAC
Nokia 3310
Ericsson T68 (x5 - all replaced under warranty)
Sony Ericsson T68i (x7 - all replaced under warranty)
Nokia 7210
Orange SPV (aka HTC Canary)
Orange SPV C500 (aka HTC Typhoon) - still have this one
Orange SPV M500 (aka HTC Magician)
T-Mobile MDA Vario II (aka HTC Hermes)
T-Mobile MDA Vario III (aka HTC Kaiser) - still have this one
HTC Touch Pro
Qtek 8500 (aka HTC StrTrk) - still have this one
Samsung i900 Omnia - still have this one
HTC HD2
Samsung i9100 Galaxy S2

The only phone I didn't like was the Nokia 7210, but I had to get something reliable after the excellent but hugely unreliable T68/T68i's. Every other phone has been brilliant and much loved - and in the case of all the Windows Mobile phones, modded and flashed to within an inch of their lives!! :)

* Philips Genie
* Nokia 8210 - Brilliant small phone.
* Nokia 3310 (work phone) - Eevryone has to use one of these at some point in their life.
* Sony Ericsson T68
* Sony Ericsson T610
* Sony Ericsson K700
* Samsung Galaxy GT something or other (forget the number) - ran Windows Mobile and had a qwerty keyboard like a blackberry.
* HTC Desire - Brilliant device.
* Samsung Galaxy Note - A mini tablet rather than a phone but this ismaking a good attempt at true convergence for me.

My first phone was the first pay as you go phone offered by vodafone,

The Vodafone MN-1 :-

I upgraded to the bt cellnet phone once it came out, it even had simple picture messaging between other savvy's

Then I got the nokia 5110 (it had snake!)
5110.jpg

A small upgrade to the 3210 (upgradable operator logos!)
3210.jpg

Then the 3310 (snake 2!)
3310.png

I got the 3330 with a genie sim, my first wap phone with unlimited wap & text messages
3330.jpg

I got the 8310 after that and kept it for a while, it was probably my most used phone ever it was dinky but did everything
8310.jpg

I went to sony erricson after ages of only buying nokia phones, It has polyphonic ringtones and a colour display which was quite rare at the time, the camera was an attachment that you had to clip in too
t300.gif

Sticking with sony erricson I got a t610, my first bluetooth phone, we had some fun with push messaging in my first year of college
t610.gif

I bought an n-gage after that, it looked terrible but it was a really advanced phone for the time, not really for the games but it had external storage and could run "apps"
ngage.png

I can't remember what I had after this, I will update it I remember but I did eventually get the nokia N95
n95.gif

I bought a HTC touch HD after that, It is by far the worst phone I have ever owned and the customer service I received has made sure I never buy a HTC phone ever again
touchhd.jpg

After my TouchHD I bought the iPhone 3GS
iphone3g.jpg

I bought the iPhone 4, probably one of my favourite phones of all time
iphone4.png

and now I have a samsung galaxy s2, It's ok, I like the customisability but it just isn't as reliable as I hoped, I never had an app crash in the whole time I used IOS but I've had quite a few in the couple of months I've had the S2
galaxys2.gif

I will probably get the next iPhone, it depends what android have to offer when my contract is up

This makes me think Nokia need to make a phone like the 800 now that you can change the case of, then pick your own colour, I remember the obscene collections of different covoers you could get all over the place for the mobiles in the past!

My brother dropped his iPhone in a cup of tea last year (and the idiot hadn't taken out insurance) - he'd never bothered to keep any of his old phones so ended up being stuck with one of my dad's old phones for a couple of weeks -

He got a bit of stick for using a Nokia 3310 with a Yoda cover on it :D

Mines is the following...

Ericsson 628
Nokia 5110
Nokia 3210
Nokia 3310
Nokia 3330
Nokia 8310
Nokia 7110
SE T68i
SE P800
SE W810
SE W950
Nokia 95
Nokia 95 8GB
Samsung Jet
Nokia N97
iPhone 3GS 16GB
SE Xperia X10i
Samsung SGS2 16GB
SE Xpera Arc
Samsung SGS2 16GB
Nokia Lumia 800 16GB - Cyan

I am pretty sure that's all of them....

Yeah, I changed my 5110 logo to an odd manga/anime one. I just realised that I may be wrong when I called it the Nokia 402, as Substance's picture of the 5110 is exactly the same as the 402.

Lots of people here seemed to have had the BT Cellnet one which was a pretty decent phone. Someone at my old work had his for years, well into the mid-2000s, and it had this ringtone that sounded like a sonar - quite cool and very non-cheesy for a ringtone. I'm surprised not many people had the Nokia 6600 though.

The phones I've had are, in order:

Bosch 509e
Samsung n500
Nokia 7110
Nokia 6230i
Motorola v635i
HTC TyTN (Hermes)
Nokia n95 8gb
HTC Desire
HTC Sensation

All PAYG except the 6230i. I managed to get both the 7110 and the Desire given to me for nothing!
