What RAM are you getting/bought for Ryzen

Well I thought I was going mad, I ordered 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200Mhz G-Skill Trident Z RGB - F4-3200C16D-16GTZR and I have received, totally the wrong ram ffs.

Well they have sent out some new ram today and are picking up this on delivery, I am going to check it before I hand over this.

Edit correct ram arrived, installed and working fine. Will not run at 3200 it default to 2133 on xmp.

On first launch, 2 stick run at 2133 but a quick tweak in bios and they happily go to 3200 Haven't had time yet to tweak timings too much.

I am running same memory and cant get it stable over 2999, what settings did you use for 3200?

Thanks, is that 3200 with an FSB overclock or 3200 and 100 FSB?

I am running RealBench at at 3050 with 104 FSB and x37.5 multiplier but its not stable, at 2933, 100FSB and x39 everything is happy.

Standard 100 FSB here. Only adjusted timings and ram frequency and good to go

What are you running your CPU at, mine is stable at 3.9 at 100FSB with RAM on 2933, I know the RAM speed is related to the CCX so maybe I need to reduce the OC.

At stock I'm afraid. Only had time to test ram for stability before I had to disassemble both builds (going under water).

So after just 6 days in my Ryzen 1700/MSI B350M Mortar rig my G.SKILL F4-320016D-16GTZR RGB memory has stopped working.
The PC won't post with this memory installed. Put my backup 1x4GB Crucial 2133Mhz dimm back in and its fine.
Will be sending the G.Skill RGB memory back tomorrow.

I'm looking to order alternative 2x8GB 3200Mhz memory in the next few days. Does anyone have any suggestions?
i haven't given up on G.Skill entirely and was considering the Flare X F4 3200C14D-16GFX

Have also tried Corsair LPX 3000Mhz 2x8GB and the system wouldn't post with that.

Just finished building my rig with the Asrock Fatal1ty K4 and 3200 Vengeance RAM

Without changing voltages anywhere it runs stable at 3.7Ghz OC and 2933mhz on memory on air cooling

Will prob wait for the latest BIOS releases this month before going higher

It runs at 2933 currently with everything on auto except selecting the 2933 speed option in BIOS. Won't boot at 3200 currently on the 1107 or 1002 BIOS. Different motherboards may have differing results.
