What really wind's you up?

Pensioners driving ... I really think people over the age of 70 should have to resit their driving test or at least get a small check up on how well they can use car.

Twice today I saw elderly drivers driving awful. I was walking back from getting my lunch and this old women must have her gears mixed up as she was stopped at a junction revving up her engine with a worried & frustrated look on her face whilst there being a huge queue of traffic behind her. After a few minutes of her doing this she eventually got going and did the exact same thing at the traffic lights further up the road ... and the person behind her having to get out and help her get going again.

I travel through the country roads every day to get to work and if you have ever been stuck behind an elderly person going 30mph whilst on the national speed limit you'll know how I feel ... I know if they don't drive on those roads every day they could easily crash when going faster and in the long run it's safer for everyone ... but still, its seriously annoying!

While i'm at it: a group of people stopping and chatting (usually the elderly, lol) in unsuitable & busy locations, for example 5/6 people standing talking in a small corridor or pathway and having no consideration for the masses of people that are continually trying to get passed them.

The only thing that really annoys me are people who ask me for money for charities and stuff, and then try and follow you when you either blank them or tell them you arnt interested.

Oh and people who drive excessively slowly, i imagine the road without the car infront and look at how fast we are going, and just cannot work out what it is in their brain which makes them unable to process the thought of maybe going a little quicker.

People who scream on planes when they just dip or go through a bit of turbulance. You are NOT helping.

lol ... completey agree with you on that one, i don't mind flying but can't stand stand turbulence , when your trying to watch a film or listen to your ipod to try and keep your mind on other things people going "AHHHH"every minute is extremely annoying.

lol, also know exactly how you feel jez

This has recently started to make my blood boil.

I drive a Volvo.
It was made in 1996.
It has headlights.
They are always on.
I can't turn them off; you see its a safety feature.

So, please don't beep/flash/shout at me to turn them off, or I will most likely get arrested for road rage.

Just so everyone knows, older SAABs and Volvos have Driving Safetly Lights to conform to Sweedish legislation, which means dipped headlights are permanetly on.

Thanks

No you dont, if you talk to someone you stay off line. Well thats what it is like in Windows messenger.
Its the greatest invention. I use it all the time so i dont need to talk to people i dont want to :D

This isn't specifically directed at you, it applies to anyone who does this but how about growing a pair. If you don't want to talk to someone then don't, if you must then block them but for an instant messaging program it seems a bit stupid to be signed in and not available to chat. It isn't quite as bad as the people who are permanantly online but never actually available but it is close.

People at work who just sit on their backsides smoking away outside while everyone else who doesn't smoke is working and when they have the nerve to ask "Can you do this for me". Does my nut in.

What really gripes me is...

Standing at the bar waiting to be served then some chump comes along and gets served before I do, even though the yid knew full well I was there first.
My miss's hates it when this happens as my mouth just opens and says something along the lines of "arrogant ****", do get the odd glare every now and then but as far as I'm concerned its common decency.

currently finding that, lately, everywhere on this forum can't just keep a thread on topic, without taking the michael. The threads then become slanging matches in a "jokey" manner. Bring back the days when you could read a thread and get good information and discussion, with good p-take threads not finding themselves in good threads.

Cashiers, who when giving you change, first lay the note on your hand and then put the coin on top of it.

It means putting down whatevers in the other hand just to sort it out.

There's only two things I can't stand in this world. Those who are intolerant of other peoples cultures... and the Dutch. :D

People who leave their phonex on in the cinema, and people who answer their phones in the cinema. Those people are RETARDED.
And the fact that cinemas (in my area) used to block out phone signals but some big shot decided to reverse that, why? IT MAKES NO SENSE!!!
