What RTS?

Warcraft III + The expansion is the best RTS currently available on the PC IMO. Excellent single and multiplayer aspects, plus some brilliant custom multiplayer maps...

DoW really, really bored me. Far too simple for my liking...

*Awaits kreeeee's usual "OMG Starcraft is the bestest" routine* :p

Age of Mythology and Age of Empires 2 are the two I'd recommend. :)

Something about AoE 3 that never really appealed to me. Plus I love the gameplay in AoE 2. :)

I always loved the command and conquer series, generals is the best as its the newest and is 3d. But there is a new star wars one abut to come out which would be good waiting for, cant remember what its called though but the demo just came out last week and there is a lot of hype about it.

Don't touch Generals, it's balls ;)
Play the original Red Alert and Red Alert 2, they're by far the best :D
Command and Conquer will have you going for hours, as will Warcraft 3/Frozen Throne

Arrrrr
I'm replaying Total Annhilitation trying to do the 4th Core mission of the original and its for lake of a polite word agrivating me Grr

my guys goo boom before they have much of a chance to do any damage, add to that the wreckage thy leave behind doesn't help the Path mapping either.

BTW RTS?? TA 4TW

generals is a great game... yes the ai is dumb, so dont fight them

alas aoe3 gave me some lame ass error when i tried to install it so i never got to play that, i to think DoW while cool as hell was a bit too simple really, plus the terminators in it are pants which is just shocking (standard sm with rocket launchers ***)

really liked the empire at war demo... hope that turns out ot be a good one

Well AOE3 turned up last night, I ended up ordering the deluxe edition which only cost me £20 ish. Nearly soiled myself when I saw the size of the parcel it came in.

The box:

The contents:

You get the game, the making of, soundtrack, manual, quick ref. guide, in depth player guide, poster, a book with all the artwork and a demo disc to give to someone so they can try it out.

Had a quick play last night and really enjoyed it, gonna really give it a go tonight and see what I can do.

I played it non-stop until I completed it, have also had a couple of games online but I prefer the single player

Aint tried the single player but me and some mates have played about 100 hours online since we got it recently.. Great fun but very hard somtimes as people seem to be insanly good at it.
