May get the 3700x, got a 2600/B450 pro carbon in January with the mindset to upgrade to Zen 2. Not sure yet as the only game ive found which taxes the 2600 @ 1440p with a V56 is BFV (90%+ usage on all 12 threads) but it can still manage to average 110-120+ fps with minimums around 85-90. GPU usage is around 80-90% so its a little bottlenecked.

Might wait for black friday and see if the 3700x drops a little (sub 300) if Intel respond

I'm probably going to have the energy to do my rebuild until Saturday :(
3900X and Rog Strix and 16GB 3200MHZ CL14 RAM sat in the corner of the room.
 
I got a 3900X with msi X570 meg ace motherboard. Although the 3950x was tempting but I felt the price was to high vs the others and I found the 3900X to be better value and I also upped my core count vs 2700x
