what software that i can editing a swf file

Hi guys

i need to open and edit a swf file, to change the value of number of uploads then save it.

which software u'd recommended?

I think swf is the "compiled" version for executing only. You'd need the original .fla file to edit any settings.

There are SWF decompilers around but the couple I looked at you have to shell out for and who knows if they work properly or not.

i've opened the swf file and exported it to fla file, shall i edit the fla with notepad ++ ?

No, you then open the fla with Flash.
