Hilarious. Posted that earlier this evening, get back to my notebook and find the router lost its connection while I was watching TV.

Why do people who have NTL BB insist on calling it NTHell? I have the 10mb pack.. Never had any problems with them whatsoever plus I havent paid a single penny for 13 months since I had it installed.. NTHeaven imo.

So they forgot to charge you then?

yeah, i have a few friends who cancelled there Blueyonder account but still have a connection for free.

I've got 8mbps Bulldog. I chose the 4-8 option as I don't ever get over 8mbit speeds. Nice and fast anyway.

erm, getting similar thingy myself. Im on 8mb with BT but on this test(trying it just for fun), I get just over 5000 kb/s?!?

On 4 Meg BY been on 10 but it was too fast and 4 Meg is £10 cheaper.

10meg Blueyonder, usage around 120gb to 180gb a month at a guess probably more if the fiancee uses it.

I'm one of the poor souls with under 1 meg.

I hate living in the sticks i really do.

When there's a slight breeze the net goes down, when theres a storm either our lines or router needs to be replaced and when there's a drizzle our net goes down for hours.

Oh yeah, and worst of all, we pay 24.99 for this a month.

If we had stayed in town we'd have a 4+ meg connection >.<

And also, we have to have a top of the range router to keep the connection alive, the normal BT modem isn't strong enough and drops the signal every 5 minutes.
