What things do you hate about games?

inconsistent voice acting, not only bad and soulless voice acting, but inconsistent such as Ni No Kuni, there has been places where they have cut to a sequence to have a character say a sentance then you read a book full of text.

achievements, not all, i enjoy getting most but as many said collecting all of somthing or ones that require multiple playthoughs.

unfinished games, its been said already this thread but if a game was released as bad as some are these days on release they would have been a massive flop, i understand there is a lot more in todays games but some games get released with game breaking bugs on and it takes away a lot from the atmosphere.

multiple hour dull tutorials, some games need a tutorial, some dont but all should have an option to skip the tutorial.

Skipping cut scenes is like watching all the action parts of a film without any of the bits in between, it just won't make any real sense.

I actually did that with Sucker Punch :)
(I don't skip game cutscenes though... heck I even watch the intro movies at least once!)

Already covered, but these are some of mine:

Unskippable introductory logos.
Checkpoints just before cutscenes. Made worse if they aren't skippable...
AI that's the same or worse than what we had in 2000.
Day-1 DLC
In-game DLC advertisements
Massive difficulty spikes (not so bad if its the Final Boss or optional boss)
Attempts to disguise invisible walls/edge of play area as "natural" obstacles (some of them are just insulting; roads in DE:HR always jammed with sideways-on lorries :p)

Oh God, you've just given me flashbacks!

I swear that I shouted so loud one time that my T.V turned itself off in protest.

I think it's between Blowtorch & Corkscrew and Heart of the Reich as the hardest levels I've played in any Call of Duty game. Even stuff like Mile High Club and No Fighting In The War Room were nowhere near as difficult.

Cheap ways of ramping up the difficulty is about the main one I can think of, as well as things like bugs obviously.

When I say cheap, I mean tactics like constantly respawning enemies.

poor sound in games is unacceptable where you have to max up the volume on tv to hear anything

unrealistic difficulty settings, some games are just not tested properly

the whole xbox 360 user interface, its so cluttered i only ever check trailers and demos and the rest of it is junk
