Right, story so far is....

I bought a wallet off of ebay which i recieved and all was ok, went to put a card in one of the card holder slots and the leather peeled away from the lame piece of cardboard it was stuck to. A few days later i left neg feedback for poor quality product and was hit back with one saying no communication was made for chance to sort it out (fair point i spose, i just didnt want the hassle and had fulfilled my part of the deal by paying for it therefore all should be fine i thinks).

He said he wanted to withdraw the feedbacks and would give me a refuns so i started the process, he gave me back my money and asked to get them removed so i did it again and am waiting for the feedback to be removed.

In the mean time he has emailed saying can you reply to confirm you have the money and will you send the wallet back to me. Now to me it seems obvious i have the money as he will get an email telling him i have but the thing that has annoyed me is that he didnt ask me to send it back before we had sorted it all out cus i may not have bothered with it.

Now when i bought the wallet it was 99p with £4.99 p and p. The way i see it, if he wants me to send the same item back to him he should have to pay the same p and p i did. After all, its the same item right?

You should always communicate with the seller first and try to resolve the problem before leaving negative feedback. Its not a sellers responsibility to pay for the return postage.
I have to ask, what did you expect for 99p?

Send him a padded envelope containing only fresh air, via Recorded Delivery.

Then ask him to prove that he isn't lying. :)

i dont get it basmic.

for 99p plus 4.99 p and p charge i expected a standard five quid wallet that doesnt fall apart when you put a card in the card slot

What I'm saying is, tell you you've sent the wallet back, purely to get him off your back and have the negative feedback removed.

Assuming he removes the -ve before recieving the envelope, all should be well - for you.

DO IT ON EBAY YOU ****, NOT HERE!!!!!

How many ebay threads per page will the dons allow then? even though they are supposedly not allowed....

the neg will go before i send think about sending it, if it isnt it wont go.

didnt know this singist, just wanted an opinion as i have seen topics likes this around on here

The wallet is worth £1. Well done.

What did you expect? The P&P you paid is a) irrelevent and b) does not somehow make the wallet more expensive/valuable.

_NO COMPANY_ would refund P&P if a customer is unsatisfied with a product.

Just what do you expect for a £1 wallet?! Christ! My wallet was £89.99 from some weird shop in E.Germany.

Here's a tip: you want quality? Pay for it.

bit of glue wll sort my wallet out and it still does the same thing as yours.

i'm asking ideas what to do about sending back, not willy waving look at my wallet

(double post by mistake)

Stick it in a box, mail it to his address.

Easy.

As for the P&P, you pay for it. It shouldn't cost £4.99 to send a wallet back anyway.

Clearly, judging from this thread, it doesn't. Again, your loss. Send it back.

Just send it back. It'll cost about a quid. His initial P&P was a bit inflated but that's another issue entirely.
