What to do next...

FN2? its a FN1, only the type r is a FN2 chassis.

Have you actually bothered to find out what car you drive?:D

anal much? never heard of a simple typo? & what does that matter anyway to anyone who never driven a Civic let alone researched them in minute detail?

how about we clarify something for anyone (probably no-one) who cares.

Chassis numbers for EU 5 door civics are FK1/2/3
Chassis number for EU 3 door civics are FN1/2/3

2.2 Diesels are avialable in FN1, FN3, FK...*thud*....

....sorry i fell asleep for a moment there :p

Always dissapointing to see stuff like that from posters you normally enjoy reading posts by.

Fox, that's the nicest thing I think I've ever heard you say :)! Thanks!!! I was 100% playing the fool. As you know so well; the Internet is a massive game of Chinese whispers where a small amount of truth or a fad gets blown up. Monedos are great alround cars, modern diesels are more unreliable than n/a petrols and Golfs are stupidly expensive, fact. Also if you're on a forum full of 20/30 boys most of whom work in IT and take home a good wage each month then you can expect BMWs to pop up every now and again.

You've made my day!
