why? if a cat was weeing over my house id shoot it. Same went for the cat that was eating bady chicks we had in the garden at home.

Stopped it eating birds didnt it!

To an extent I agree with him, I dont normally kill anything but if It is giving me trouble and nothing else works I.E supersoaker I would be tempted to shoot it but I never would, plus that dropping a cat link is sickening :(.

Dogs don't eat cats. Infact, you know I have never seen a dog actually chase a cat ala Looney Tunes.

rhodesian ridgebacks can and will. A friend of mine had one and 3 cats, one day it turned on all three and ripped them all to pieces. Got rid of the dog after that, poor thing.

Yeah, killing is just a great barrel of laughs isn't it? I'm fine about you hunting and eating what you've killed but I get the distinct impression you couldn't care less whether you ate it or not, it's the destruction of helpless animals that drives you.

Negative, I only kill animals to eat them. It's all part of the food chain, we're at the top, it's natural, I can't understand all of these veggie tree hugger types.

That is disgraceful

You do release that we have 3 cats of our own and we arnt going to deprive them of going outside.

I've said it before in this thread and I'll say it again... you shouldn't be letting your cats out until they've been neutered/spayed. Who knows what they're up to when they're out of sight?

They dont travel far, usually play in the front or backyard. Its just the white thing has come looking for them now

this is one thing i wholeheartedly agree on, nothing worse than roaming toms! even if they are owned by somebody they will still wander if they can smell other cats.

we had a problem becuase of a tom that used to always come in and eat our cats food. it used to pee everywhere too, and becuase of that our cats started to pee everywhere and it got worse. grrr.

I agree, and I'm an animal lover and hate to see an animal in distress.

I know this isnt the point of th thread but

To all you cat lovers how would you like it it a dog randomly walked into your garden ripped up your plants, poo'd all over the place, pee'd on your doors and any remotly sandy area then started eating and chasing your pet rabbits/ guine pigs?

Im sure you'd just be fine with it even after you had tried every humane way of detering it.

^ i would never resort to shooting it myself! or doing anything that would harm it myself!

call in the RSPCA and complain, call the local cattery/impound place and get them to come collect it if it has no collar, if it has a collar go give the owners a good slapping.

All of you people who are suggesting hurting the cat are mindless idiots. If I ever found somebody had hurt or killed my cat (especially when there are humane alternatives) I would definitely press charges and if the law didn't satisfy me I would take matters into my own hands just as I did when I found out some bloke from down the road had shot it with a BB gun.

What you should do is either report it to the RSPCA as a stray and seeif they will come and collect it or seeif you can find out if it has an owner and speak to them about getting it "fixed". In the meantime, use a supersoaker, that's what I used in conjuction with a product called "Get Off My Lawn" which is a bottle of green jelly stuff that you spread around. I get no stray cats in my garden now, I just put a little bit down every couple of weeks and it works a treat. I think I bought it from Wilko's or some similar hardward type store.

Get your girls sorted ASAP as they are too young to get pregnant and this would be hazardous to their health. Our female was pregnant already when we had her done and the vet said that if we hadn't, she could have died. If you are receiving benefits of any kind and can't afford the vets fees, you can get a voucher from the RSPCA to cover some of the cost.

The tom cat from next door kept coming into our house so we got hold of him each time he trespassed onto our property and threw a glass of water over him, whilst holding him down. We only had to do this 3 times and he hasn't been anywhere near since.

Good luck anyway.

was going to suggest something similar. Define the boundaries etc. If you cant get near then perhaps the hose. Firm but fair to be honest.

Im not sure if it is or not. I think there is something like it though

You could also buy some Pepper spray. That will sort him out.

After being shot in the eyes with it , it sure does work.

I have got the ULTIMATE solution. I just remembered one of my mates telling me a joke about a cat that had its tale glued to the top of its head. Everytime it walked the tale would be lifted and the ass would be exposed into the air....

meaning he would get a taste of his own medicine!!! ha ha ha

WTF? That makes no sense, you lose the thread. Cats walk around with their asses on display at the best of times.
