What to get a man who has everything?

Actually, if the boat thing is practical, I'd suggest that - my old man picked up a boat cheap a few years ago, and is retiring this week - he's looking forward to spending a few weeks at a time out on the sea.

Other than that, have you looked at the Palmersport stuff? If the old man is into cars, it's worth investigating, I've never heard anyone say bad things about it.

Also, Don Palmer [not the same as above, which is Jonathan Palmer IIRC] does car control courses - skidpans, teaching drifting/oversteer, ice driving, etc.

Worth investigating.

If a man has "everything" then the one thing he doesn't have is "nothing".

Get him that, he will be so pleased!

:D

I agree with getting him an expierance rather than an item.

Does he like driving, could get him a track day driving Aston Martin's and Ferarri's?

Flying - Flying Lessons..

Is there anything he has always wanted to do?

That is begging to be abused by credit card scammers

10-28 days to get it sent to you is a sizeable buffer time.

Besides, that's seriously unimpressive.

I'm sure about 1/4 of the time a builder/plumber comes through the place I work he pays with £20s off a sodding great roll of a few thousand pounds worth.

Forget pushing drugs, you want a phat roll of cash, be one of them.

When my dad turned 60, I bought him a flat-cap and a walking stick (I was unemployed at the time). Luckily, he had enough of a sense of humour to not hit me with it. :D
