what tune do you want played at your funeral?

Grim Reaper - See You In Hell

There'd be a sit-on lawnmover involved somewhere as well. How's that for an obscure reference.

Blue Oyster Cult - Don't Fear the Reaper.....

nah, I'm joking

I like the idea of Moby - God Moving Over The Face Of

Really good tune.

'Knockin' On Heaven's Door' by Bob Dylan, or perhaps the Johnny Cash cover of 'Death Is Not The End'.
'The End' by The Doors.
'Cold Cold Ground' by Tom Waits.

Or perhaps anything from the Murder Ballads album by Nick Cave ;).

Edit: The Smiths must have had a hundred songs about death, not that I can think of any right now.

Edit: Radiohead - Exit Music (For A Film)

Opeth - To Bid You Farewell
Opeth - A Fair Judgement
Opeth - In My Time of Need
Opeth - Ending Credits

I'm beginning to see a pattern emerging here :/

The Imperial March by John Williams, The End by the Doors and Going Underground by the Jam.

I Am The Ressurection - The Stone Roses

As the bass solo hits I would burst out of my coffin dressed in a adidas tracksuit, Superstar trainers, a 5 O'Clock shadow and a straggly haircut!

go out with a bang :) Funerals dont have to be depressing.
You'll probably find that the people attending your funeral won't really want to have a party. A funeral isn't for the person that's died - it's for their relatives and friends to come to terms with their grief and try to find a little closure.

My family know that I am to be left at the hospital to be cut up by students or whatever they want to do.
It would be great if I could appear on that German Morticians program being cut up.
If my family has a party I'm to have played :
Buddy Holly - That'll be The Day (Buddy is my God)
R Dean Taylor - Theres A Ghost In My House
Metallica - Enter Sandman
