28" PC monitor.. On my PC Desk... What's all this 'gaming on a TV Malarky'?? 
I went through my Plasma phase, I got over the obsession with absolute picture quality analysis and went to Projectors, 110" 1080p and I just couldn't go back..
And that leaves me free to then not obsess and get a reasonable 46" LCD for normal TV and the kids consoles.. 120Hz LCD with clean processing and 'autoview' adjusting to the scene and room conditions means I've been able to just leave it and not tinker..
