Tbh, I am glad I found this topic with personal recommendations from people. I will definitely take some shows from others lists to watch!

That episode was hard watching indeed. Too much shouting and chaos. I guess it had a point and backstory to get across though.

I struggled a bit with the previous episode too. Found the girl a little unlikable and it didn't seem to progress the story at all.

Overall it's been a good show though.
I did enjoy The Bear, but I've found both seasons a little random. I feel like there was more of a point to this season, with the opening of the restaurant, but it often seems a little random and sometimes pointless. For example, desert guy in Europe. What was the bicycle crash bit about?

Went back to the final season of Peaky Blinders after starting it last year and being less than impressed, 3rd and 4th episodes are far better and looking forward to getting it all finished with the next few episodes. These last few seasons have been plodding along for the sake of it imo.

Have to mention an absolute standout scene with Steven Graham in the Liverpool docks warehouse, talking to Arthur about helping with his addiction. That guy can do no wrong and will go down as one of the modern greats.
Stephen Graham is great, loved him since Snatch. I want to say I've never seen a bad thing he has been in but tried watching Code 404 but couldn't get into it and didn't find it terribly funny.

On the last couple of episodes of Midnight Mass, really enjoying it...great performance by Hamish Linklater.

I notice Steven Knight has been busy making plenty of shows but for some reason has not made season 2 of Taboo

I loved him in Time the most.

Just finished Jury Duty, absolutely loved it. So very funny, so many ways it could have gone wrong or felt like a cruel trick but they absolutely nailed it.

first 3 episodes of special ops lioness, loving it so far, nice 45 minute episodes, shows a good balance of their personal lives and the dangerous covert ops they undertake

We got half way through this and gave up.
If you want to just top it off, watch the final episode. Even that you could probably fast forward a little

Literally a case of the first two episodes with the sheriff discovering stuff. Then the next 6-7 spent with the new sheriff discovering the same things in interminably boring fashion and then 15 mins of pay off in the final episode.

Finished off the first season of Foundation, frustratingly slow at points but not to it's detriment, it held my attention all the way through and i'm keen to start the next series.

Been watching season two. More of the same really.

I desperately want to like it as there isn't much good sci-fi on tv, but the way they present the timelines is muddled. The story telling isn't great and some of the actors annoying.

It looks great though :)

The time jumps are certainly jarring and a bit of a head **** at times.

I think there is enough acting pedigree to carry the weaker talent along, Lee Pace and Jared Harris are both excellent, the actor playing brother Dusk is decent as well.

If I were going to pick fault, it would be some of the hand to hand combat scenes with Salvor - it's painfully choreographed, something i'd expect to see in SG1.

Lee pace and Jared Harris are both really good actors. The lead female is weak though. Strongly suspect she's there because she's diverse and pretty, not for her acting skills. She seems to have no subtlety in her delivery at all.

But the show is keeping me watching, so it must have something :)
